The view & location of the hotel
Didn't get things we called the front desk for. [Tp]
The room was very nice....larger than we anticipated. Everything was spotless. So close to beach for a nice walk or lunch.
The 6th floor outdoor dining looked chill, but then when we finally got a seat, I had to go to the bar to order. We got chips and guac..my husband preferred a salsa dip, Instead of bringing or just adding the dip, we were charged for an entire order again.. The staff was extremely rude especially on the rooftop
The rooftop bar and restaurant, the main reason we booked the hotel for, were closed with the excuse "because of the fires and air quality"???? The air quality was back to the usual for LA and the sky was clear!!!! The breakfast is unacceptable, very basic food in a tiny space.
The location was perfect and Frank in the reception desk was exceptional. We had some drinks and snacks in the rooftop which is charming and we also enjoyed good views from our room. To have the pizza place in the hotel is a plus (we ate our pizzas in our room terrace), and breakfast was very good and with a wide schedule. It is also very convenient location for going to LAX airport.
If you stay on a weekend, maybe bring earplugs, there is a noisy club close by but it is not the fault of the hotel.

Steps from the beach and short walk to all the nice shops and restaurants in Abbot Kinney. Room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Loved using the beach cruisers to bike to Santa Monica and enjoying a drink on the rooftop bar.
