The main house was beautiful! The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. We loved the bar (especially our server, Max) and enjoyed sitting on the porch. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and welcoming.
There were a few times we found ourselves waiting longer than expected at the front desk and for valet service. Our room was clean and comfortable, though it felt a bit dated. For the price point, it would go a long way to offer a few more amenities, and the pool was smaller than we anticipated based on the website photos.
Over the historic set up and the aesthetic of the place - so quaint and well located Loved coffee in lobby and barman was cool
Only Moab was lift broke so we had to carry all our luggage down three flights of straits on last day otherwise couldn’t fault it
The hotel is beautiful. The location was perfect to be in downtown
The restaurant wasn’t really open. We tried to get coffee and no one was available
Fantastic location, very nice hotel and rooms. Quiet. Would definitely come again. Also we were there at low season and had a great price.

Also the app set by default a wrong check out date and it felt...Read more
What a gem in the heart of Austin- historical modern hotel with great amenities, great food and drink- excellent customer service!
Nothing- everything was perfect!
The staff. They were all so kind and happy.
There's a very good restaurant on-site. The prices are decent, and the food and cocktails are superb. The pool area is small but has enough towels, cabanas, and loungers. They don't really care if you go to the pool late at night as long as you are respectful and not noisy.
No self-parking available. Our room didn't have a view, but we didn't pay to upgrade the view so it's not a big deal breaker. The address said they are on "Rio Grande" but the main entrance is actually on MLK, so just be aware.
Great and friendly bartender
Location. And Pool. The staff was awesome
