Cons (-) they werent able to accommodate us in a room with one queen bed but instead two doubles. we are a couple and didnt really enjoy sleeping separately

Pros (+) Beach club and rooftop pool areas are beautiful and very calm (although the rooftop bar was heaving when I first arrived on the Sunday, it was much calmer in the week). Room was perfectly clean with nice touches.
Cons (-) The hotel is noisy unfortunately. The design means you can hear all the noise outside the room in the halls and my room was placed directly above the restaurant too so could hear all of that. This did quieten down after about 11pm and was very manageable with ear plugs.

Pros (+) Unique, artsy, boutique hotel with great vibe and charm. Wonderful location in the Marina, great to watch the fisherman and boats, the local sea lions and if lucky spot some whales splashing around outside the wavebreakers.
Cons (-) Inconsistency in F&B and service, especially in terms of portions sizes, flavors and attentiveness. F&B generally on the pricier side, and while all staff are wonderfully friendly, they struggle with service consistency. Spa facilities and vibe are great but for that premium price, the full body massage itself is lacking technique.

Pros (+) Live music: first night was a flamenco show and they served paella, which was delicious. Second night, blues. What I liked most is the long infinity pool on the top floor with a wonderful view of the ocean. A very artsy, boutique hotel.
