Food was great, staff wonderful, love the decor and we slept like babies!
Beach club and rooftop pool areas are beautiful and very calm (although the rooftop bar was heaving when I first arrived on the Sunday, it was much calmer in the week). Room was perfectly clean with nice touches.
The hotel is noisy unfortunately. The design means you can hear all the noise outside the room in the halls and my room was placed directly above the restaurant too so could hear all of that. This did quieten down after about 11pm and was very manageable with ear plugs.
Unique, artsy, boutique hotel with great vibe and charm. Wonderful location in the Marina, great to watch the fisherman and boats, the local sea lions and if lucky spot some whales splashing around outside the wavebreakers.
Inconsistency in F&B and service, especially in terms of portions sizes, flavors and attentiveness. F&B generally on the pricier side, and while all staff are wonderfully friendly, they struggle with service consistency. Spa facilities and vibe are great but for that premium price, the full body massage itself is lacking technique.
This is an amazing hotel with art everywhere and a beautiful set up. Staff were fantastic and food was exceptional .
Double beds were small .
Staff and overall a nice experience
Live music: first night was a flamenco show and they served paella, which was delicious. Second night, blues. What I liked most is the long infinity pool on the top floor with a wonderful view of the ocean. A very artsy, boutique hotel.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful ambience. Excellent service Great rooftop pool/Bar with magnificent views. Beach club was a bonus.
Nothing
Loved the art, fitout and laid back boho vibe! Awesome beach club and pools. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. A little way out of town but a short Uber ride and a much better option than staying in town. We’ll definitely be back!
Everything about our trip was 5 star - their new French manager is lovely, the staff are so friendly, the food is phenomenal (on pricey side), the little touches are appreciated (like cookies and turn-down service), the pools and hot tub, the views…
I was happy until I got financially abused.
Breakfast was included, then an espresso was not considered as a coffee so got billed and i asked to add avocado with my egg, resulting in 2 espressos ( 1 per day) and 2, half avocados costing me a 50$ supplement. I ate at El Ganso the most expensive avocado you can get, and trust me it was just a normal plain avocado.
