Beautiful building and rooms overlooking a partially open plaza and restaurant. Sits next to a lovely square and across from a cathedral so beautiful it will make you believe in God again. All of central Old San Juan is within walking distance.
Our room didn’t have a view and was a little dark, but it was very large and super comfortable.
Excellent location and the building itself is amazing with plenty of places to sit and relax. Very easy walk to every thing in old San Juan. The staff is also exceptional.
Our first room was right next to the elevator and quite noisy, but they were able to move us. The gym was very stuffy with no airflow. It did have great equipment though.
Pleasant, friendly staff. Morning coffee. Great terrace with bar and restaurant.
For $600+ per night, I expected a larger room with a better view.
Enjoyed central location of hotel to Old San Juan. Very sunny room. Room service was inconsistent. Towels replaced once. I had 1 evening turn down service. Enjoyed morning coffee and access to the restaurant and bar.

Location was perfect and hotel historic feel was very nice.
The restaurant took too long to take our order and we decided to go to a pizza place.
Staff was outstanding. Kudos in particular to Luciano and the front desk.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I felt like I was a part of history, and the location was also right in the middle of the action, so to speak. Loved the free wine hour and delicious Gouda cheese! Also, when we arrived at around 2am the first night, the staff were able to come bring in extra sheets so I could sleep on the floor (I have a bad back and the mattress was too soft). I really apprecia...
The free breakfast left a lot to be desired. One of the days, we waited a full hour-plus to get our toast and bacon. The restaurant was far from capacity at the time.Read more
The rooftop terrace is gorgeous; Really appreciated the daily wine and cheese reception. The courtyard and really the entire space is just beautiful. Peaceful, calm, yet really convenient too
Our room was kept soooo cold--64 degrees! Even if we turned the AC off or tried to make it warmer, when we came back into the room later in the day it was reset to that frigid temperature.
The location and historical building. Very convenient to restaurant and pool terrace too.
