Everything about this hotel was perfect. The staff are proactively helpful and very polite. Views from the rooms were outstanding. The garden is breathtaking even in the rain. Stunning to look at during the day and beautiful lighting in the evening.
Needed to get a taxi into the centre - but was nice to be away from the busy city and take in the scenery from a quieter location.
The room was very nice, well equipped, the city view from 12th floor was spectacular. This hotel has a treasure -its beautiful garden, so rare and precious in the centre of the huge city. The staff speaks English and very helpful. The breakfast devided in two parts, western and Japanese. We tried western breakfast, it was delicious a la carte.
The gardens were absolutely spectacular and the bedding was very comfortable. I upgraded to a suite - the room was beautiful, executive lounge was very minimal compared with our hotel prior. Staff not overly welcoming. The eateries weren’t amazing in the hotel and overall staff made us feel unwelcome

Wish the room service is 24/7, last order at 9PM feels to early on days that we arrive back late.
Stunning gardens outside the hotel. The spa area was nice, although I was surprised you need to pay extra to access the pool and hot tubs.
The staff was outstanding and friendly, assisting us with arrangements prior to travel as well as during our stay, The hotel and restaurant facilities were fantastic and the gardens were incredible. Beyond expectations.
The location seemed to be a 20-30 minute taxi ride to all the common tourist destinations.
The extensive gardens were magnificent, and the very best part of our stay. The room was large and well appointed.
While the frontline staff were good, many of them were not quite proficient enough in English, so we had some problems trying to communicate with the staff.
Beautiful hotel at a much better price than comparable 5 star hotels. Spacious rooms and lovely pool spa onsen gym. Good restaurants. A little far from the station but an easy taxi ride or a nice walk through the spectacular garden and along the river.

Absolute heaven! The garden is so beautiful it’s crazy and the hotel is gorgeous. Everything is perfect and they think of every little detail.
