Cons (-) A taxi ride to the old town of Matera but while the restaurants are there you wouldn’t want stay there. This place has a pretty terrace and garden

Pros (+) Wonderful staff, breakfast and very comfortable and clean room. The staff helped us with maps and taxis as well, which was great. Super spot for visiting Matera for a night and then driving to Bari airport the next day with our rental car.
Cons (-) Taxis are about €20 to the old town area, so it’s a bit too expensive to go exploring in Matera, come back to the hotel to refresh and then head out again.

Pros (+) The staff were fantastic, very helpful, courteous and relaxed. All of the furniture and bathroom fittings were high end expensive type fittings and it was honestly one of the cleanest places we have stayed in. The food at breakfast time was well presented and again with high quality produce.
Cons (-) It was a little difficult to see the hotels signage from the road so we drove past it a few times.

Pros (+) The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, could not praise them highly enough. Rooms were modern, very clean, nothing lacking at all. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choices.
Cons (-) Only negative and it's not much of an issue is that it is a little bit too far to walk to the centre. There are taxis available however.
