Everything, the staff are absolutely wonderful, very friendly and helpful. We are a family of 5 and had enough space. Comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast was fresh every day with a wide variety to choose from. Location is perfect as its 1min walk from Tram station and 5 min walk from Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Rooms very small but it’s ok and location is more important
Breakfast had good variety - eggs, meats, bread, fruits and yogurt. Juice and coffee/tea. There were some daily additions. Fantastic front office staff - especially Ertan and Ahmet. Very warm reception by staff.
Rooms were a bit small for three people, but very mamanageable. The location was just first class.
Location was perfect for the old city! All the main attractions were so close. We had adjoining rooms with the kids so worked out perfectly

Outstanding value for money! The rooms were a bit on the small side, but we managed. The location was perfect. The staff were amazing! They were very helpful and always super positive about anything you could ask for. I loved the scale in the lobby - a small (but big!) gesture of thoughtfulness after the manic shopping spree!
Breakfasts should be better. Those were disappointing in a country with such an amazing cuisine.

My room was overlooking to 4 AC central units which started randomly humming really loudly. It woke me up many times at night
We spent 3 days here at Hotel Black Tulip! Very nice hotel, great location, all sights within walking distance! Nice, clean hotel, clean room! Delicious breakfast! The people working there are very nice and helpful! They were very kind to us! Next time we go to Istanbul, we will definitely stay here again! Hűseyin Baran is very nice! Everything was simply great! Thank you!
