Beautiful historical hotel with lots of nice extras such as complimentary pickup from the train station, free coffee and homemade biscuits in the room, an Italian Colomba cake left in the room on Easter, free yoga classes and a phenomenal wellness center.
We were hoping for a slightly better view (a building in front blocked part of the lake)
I got a room upgrade and a great view of Lake Maggiore. I really liked the little spa. It's a nice place to be. Eat a delicious breakfast. Nice selection and very good coffee.
The room was very nice and quiet. We truly enjoyed our stay. We will probably stay there again. Excellent view of the city and a beautiful sunny balcony.
We had one chaotic breakfast were the staff could not not handle the amount of people. They were overwhelmed, did not set the table, and we were not able to even order a coffee. Such unorganised service when the hotel is fully booked is unacceptable.
Great staff, very nice spa, breakfast nothing special and not worth the price - beds were rather uncomfortable. Overall good experience, but not a 9.0.
