Very comfortable room with so many thoughtful details and amenities. Excellent central location. Very quiet.
The shower would shut off every few minutes, likely for water conservation, minor but slightly annoying.

The location of this hotel is great for access to the Nampo-dong area, which is a super active area. There are parks, tons of markets (including Jagalchi Fish Market and Gukje Market), shopping street and a large Lotte Mall all within like a 15 minute walk, really. The breakfast had very limited international food options. I like that it was provided, and I found options the first day, but for the rest of the stay we ended up eating breakfast at cafes. There are three elevators (two of which are limited or even or odd floors), and there were usually waits during peak breakfast hours. Otherwise it was fine! Everything is fine
First of all they state on booking.com that they are a 5 star hotel, but the truth if you search google it’s a 2 star hotel. I paid 450$ while 5 star hotel ranged from 500-600 a night. We checked in late so didn’t have a chance to see the room or do anything about it. I tried contacting booking but they said we can do nothing.

The American breakfast could be better
A small (21 suites) modern hotel with Japanese design on the edge of Gion. Very large and fitted out rooms with Japanese or Western style breakfasts delivered to the dining table in your room daily. It was away from the growing crowds in the city, but on the banks of the river and a short walk over the bridge, it gets you into the centre in 5 minutes.
There is no restaurant on site at all, but dozens are available close by.
