Great check-in, they picked us up at the railway station. Very friendly staff. Rooms were better than expected. Lovely balconies with nice views. Lovely breakfast each morning. Nice bar area with log fire.
Bright lights in the bathroom at night when you get up are not good. So many places do not have night lights but really they are essential!
Friendly staff except for a lady on the day of arrival (1.03). Another lady was very nice and friendly and helpful. And the young man as well. Nice room except for being 1st floor just above the heads of everybody passing by… very noisy(( otherwise quite OK for this kind of hotel.
1.Poor breakfast. Scrambled eggs is the only warm dish. Had to go to another hotel for breakfast. No dinner at the hotel. Actually no food. 2. No welcome upon arrival. Lovely traditional hotel in the centre of Zermatt. A little walk to the bus, otherwise 8-10mins walk to Matterhorn Express. Great breakfast and the staff were friendly and attentive. Minor bathroom light issue but dealt with swiftly by the staff. Really lovely hotel and the Matterhorn view room was perfect !
A little far from the lifts ( and taxis are 20CHF min per trip ) but once we got the bus timetable and our bearings , it was fine.

A bit far from train station but very easy to organise transfers with friendly staff
Beautiful property, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel offers a shuttle service from the train service which was great!

The balcony and the view of the Matterhorn. The whole room was Super cozy and cute :) well decorated with enough space to hang the clothes. We felt very good!
The balcony was shared with the other rooms and therefore it was a bit noisy every time they went outside.
The room is spacious and comfortable. The view from our room is spectacular. We enjoyed the sunrise on Matherhorn.
