Pros (+) Traveling x-country with 3 dogs, looking for safe parking and pet friendly and a memorable place to stay. This checked every box. Location is a 10. All staff were gracious. Room was comfy and quiet. Hotel is eye-candy.
Cons (-) Not a negative, but many hotels in large MX cities have secure parking available and this one does and it is completely convenient and safe but might have been a little confusing as to how to access it except I’d read other reviews that described how to do it, and that when you arrive in your car, you need to phone the hotel and they send someone out to open the lot. Pros (+) The location is outstanding being right beside the cathedral and in the main street of the historic town. Exploring was easy and convenient. The building is really atmospheric. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Cons (-) The breakfast was a bit haphazard. It wasn't clear if there was a menu available or only the included dish of chicaquiles. Staff were very responsive to requests however.....
