The location was amazing.
Some very important information, such as info about transfer... how it works, especially in the winter it is very important as this was our first time visit. The dining area includes the floor and table not very clean.
view from spa was breathtaking, the altitude location in High Tatras has truly unique vibe, snow mobiles that serve as shuttles from village parking to the hotel were great fun for kids as well as for the adults

Great location to start the tour in the morning. Clean room, comfortable beds, fantastic food.
The accommodation is in a beautiful location, at the junction of several hiking trails, far from the city and cars, only those who want to be in nature can get here. The accommodation services are excellent, the food is delicious, the wellness department is also very good (Finnish sauna, steam, whirlpool). Some of the staff speak English well and most of them are very helpful.
We were not informed that the hotel cannot be approached by car. Although you can arrive till 22:00 officially, in reality the last transfer from the 7km away parking lot in Tatranska Polianka to the hotel was at 20:30. Location, the fireplace in the lobby, staff friendliness, the sunrise.
In the welcome pack it says: "The vast majority of guests prefer to hike on their own" Nowhere does it say that the hike is 2 HOURS. That seems like a wee fact that the guests should know! Food was disappointing, just slightly better than cafeteria food :|
We had the superior room for two. The room was nice and clean. Shower also big and clean. The younger guy on reception was very friendly and helpful. The biggest like was the vegan option on breakfast. On breakfast were many options for people with specifics diets and also board with all allergens ( thank you 🙏 finally someone understand how important it is ). Overall we were pretty satisfied 🙂
Probably the biggest dislike was the mattress on double bed. Sadly there were two single person mattres, what's not much comfortable ( between two mattress is hole 🫡). Some of staff act arrogant from my point of view. I understand it's 4* hotel, but in mountains not all hikers wear Gucci shoe ( but yes, it's not problem of hotel, but problem of people who going to mountains like on bday party).
Wonderful location and facilities.
The restaurant of this hotel used to be a culinary highlight of hiking in the High-Tatras. This time the food was very low quality, both lunch, dinner and the breakfast menu. I hope they bring back the previous crew, the current state of affairs at the restaurant is rather sad and disappointing.

All around excellent, everything you need for a nice stay. Wellness facility nice, loved the steam room. Full bar, nice restaurant, comprehensive breakfast.
Somewhat stranded due to road access and limited parking at the hotel, getting shuttle rides back to town needed to be planned in advance and subject to short notice change.
I have visited >60 countries but this hotel is truly amazing. The location and views are incredible.
