My first cooked breakfast was a little too oily for me, but I just had poached eggs thereafter. All staff were very accommodating and did all they could to meet any requests. The spa swimming facilities are excellent. There is a lift in the hotel.
The evening meal in lakes restaurant was too rich for me - but there was nothing wrong with the presentation.

A gorgeous hotel in the countryside , kent. Spacious room. Elegant decoration. Just my favorite style. The spa was great . It was also open till 9pm. So not like other hotels, that till you arrive to the place, the spa is already close. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Beautifull garden around. The public space are lovely as well with a burning fireplace. Will defenately come again

Lovely breakfast, We had a fabulous room that they changed for us especially after I requested a room change due to a superstitious number my mum wouldn’t stay in. Reception so helpful and quickly sorted this out for us. The alternative room given was amazing and overlooked the gardens at the back with a beautiful view. The bathroom newly decorated. The food served in the spa/menu was just ok and they didn’t do cream teas or cakes saying that these needed to be pre-ordered.Read more
The staff were all really friendly, room was lovely and breakfast options were great and tasty.
Unfortunately the vegetarian options at the restaurant were disappointing. The butternut squash risotto was not nice so put me off eating in the restaurant for our 2nd night stay. The sealant around the bath was faulty so when we had a shower it wet all the bathroom floor.

Arrive at hotel and meet reception staff. Nice people. Go up to the room and the room is fantastic. Go to eat in the brasserie and paid for our food and drink. Looked at the bill just afterwards and saw a service charge…. What’s this ripping me off ! Had that removed immediately. Very nice hotel in a nice location
Heated towel rail constantly on. Very poor water pressure, shower was very poor as was the taps. Was it just our room or others.
