Pros (+) Authentic stay in a Ryokan with hotel services. Boutique style. Real Japanese experience (accommodation, food, feeling). Very comfy room with private onsen spa in our garden/terrace.
Cons (-) Be prepared that breakfast and diner are really Japanese (no Western influences at all). So a lot of fish, seaweed, fermented vegetables, miso soup, tofu, mochi, ....). For us it was part of a true stay in Japan but I can imagine not everyone will love this food.

Pros (+) The staff was very attentive and went the extra mile to help with our baggage transfer. The food was amazing, and the hot springs was excellent. My 8 year old daughter said our stay was the best part of our trip (and we had gone to Tokyo Sea Disney and Sanrioland). One of the most memoral/best hotel stays I've ever had.

Pros (+) Beautiful location, great service and food. Our room faced the carpark which I wasn’t aware of before going, would’ve preferred the other side but it was still lovely.

Pros (+) The staff being very friendly and hospitable. The private onsen and location was perfect.
Cons (-) The meal was exquisite and beautiful, but was very one note with protein selection as majority of it was seafood. There was no way of cleaning out the onsen bath after it rained with thunderstorm the night before. The net that was provided was not able to capture all of the debris which were pretty large pieces.

Pros (+) We had a great, relaxing stay. We stayed in the Haruka room. The views were amazing and tranquil. The onsen on the balcony was just what we needed after walking 26K steps a day in Tokyo and Kyoto. We were happy to learn that the dinner and breakfast menu changed each day and offered a variety of dishes we hadn't tried before. They offer complimentary wine, spirits, and snacks in the evening.
