Room is clean, Staff are very kind and friendly. Ruwan from the rest staff was so professional and attentive. The Hotel greenery area overlooking the lake is spectacular. photos of the hotel public areas posted on booking.com is not doing enough justice. We had an afternoon and morning walks; it was so relaxing and mind blowing! unfortunately i cannot post videos to show how beautiful it is!
Food variety at the buffet for all meals is good. however, the a la cart menu is limited. for people and kids (especially) who needs western or international food will not be satisfied. for example, burgers are tasty but loaded with black pepper and spices. not suitable for all tastes. pizza was not edible.
Amazing location suitable for long holidays, you can relax and enjoy your peaceful time

The rudeness of the receptionists, the restaurant.
It really felt away from home and yet felt like home. With peaceful surrounding. Felt like living with nature. For sure would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a getaway from Their busy routine. And the food was superb.
Checking in took approx 1 hour since the rooms (we booked 3) were not ready, on top of it they wanted us to fill in all da names and details of all family members (8 pax) with proof of identity which also took approx 15-20 mins. Lovely spacious grounds and dining/pool area was great. Rooms were nice
The location is very convenient to Sigiriya and only an hour away to Polonnaruwa. The food was delicious, especially the traditional Sri Lankan ones. The room was decent although the bathroom decor looked a bit tired. The bar took a long time to give us our drinks
Had a beautiful stay and were looked after well by each staff member. Would recommend this hotel
The design of the property is beautiful. The lake and grounds were a treat. Staff were helpful. Food was good and checkout was easy.
There are a few things that needs improvement. Very very poor check in. They could not find mr reservation! Plumbing needs to improve. Bad smell from toilet. Ground staff were using a noisy leaf lower outside room around 08:30 in the morning!
