Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests frequently praised the hotel's location, describing it as convenient for sightseeing and close to public transport. Many appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, creating a pleasant atmosphere, particularly with the unique brewing and roasting meetings that encouraged socializing. However, several guests expressed disappointment regarding room conditions, noting that some rooms were outdated, small, and not as clean as expected. The lack of certain amenities like coffee pots and the presence of extra fees were also discouraging factors.

Pros (+) Great Location, very helpful staff, fun evening lobby beer and snacks every night. This hotel has a very European feel. The rooms are smaller, but very efficient in use of space and in their appointments. I always enjoy staying here when in Seattle!
Cons (-) Staff, location, style

Eileen, Mar 2025
Pros (+) Great location and value for downtown Seattle. Not a luxury hotel, but clean and comfortable with artsy decor. Easy walk to Pike Place Market and lots of shopping. It is very close to Westlake Center where you can catch the Monorail to Seattle Center, or Lightrail to airport and other destinations.
Cons (-) The rooms are small and have no coffee makers (coffee is available in morning in the lobby, or there is a Starbucks across the street). There was some street noise, but I slept with the fan on low and slept well.

Cons (-) Our bathroom sink would plug up and take a while to drain. And the parking is too expensive.
