Overall, guests appreciated the stunning location by the river and the charming atmosphere of the hotel, highlighting the excellent amenities like the pool and generous breakfast. However, there were several consistent complaints regarding the service, with many feeling it was lacking, particularly during meal times. Pros (+) we have stayed at the Arcé several times over the years. It keeps its standards high though is a little old fashioned by today's standards. The breakfast and dining is very high class; though this time the evening dinner menu didn't change during our stay which was a little disappointing.
Cons (-) we are so used to the Arcé that we know and accept its quirky nature.

Pros (+) The location was absolutely stunning. Even with some rain, it was so beautiful and relaxing. Very safe feeling, relaxed, decent people and homely. The river and facilities were great. I wish we had the energy and time to play Padel. Great large free car park.
Cons (-) The bathroom was very basic, shower power an dribble and shower curtain clinging to body, with only solid shampoo bar and soap for shower, no shower gel. Maybe better for environment, but not sensitive skin. No blind in bathroom so not great for privacy.

Pros (+) This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. Our room was right over the river rushing with early-April snowmelt. The sunset and sunrise made for great photos. The food was incredible, both at dinner and at breakfast. That was quite honestly the best breakfast I've ever had and the gourmet dinner was memorable.
Cons (-) I wish we had stayed longer.
