Pros (+) Food was amazing (dinner and breakfast), hotel and rooms were gorgeous. The view and property was stunning. The walking and hiking paths were well maintained.
Cons (-) The bed was super firm. My back and hips hurt after 1 night sleeping there.

Pros (+) I loved every moment
Cons (-) The fact that you can get luggage transfer to car for one hour only, until 11 A.M. and you have to go to 3rd floor for water,tea,coffee or fruits. Its scary at night

Pros (+) The hotel is very beautiful, but the attention of the staff was incredible, they explained everything very well, they served us with patience, even some of the staff communicated with us in Spanish. I would definitely return.

Pros (+) Booked two suites with beautiful views of lake Brienz, lovely rooms as desribed online with rennovated bathrooms. Enjoyed the wonderful pianist and his performance during breakfast.
Cons (-) Hotel provides inconsistent service, not aligned with a four star hotel and its price. My parents, daughter and I arrived first at the restaurant for dinner the night of our check-in. As asians, we first experienced horrible service (like our requests were a nuisance and having a hot tea pot shoved at my mother because she could not place it on the table for her - we were seated at the most corner...

Pros (+) Our stay at this hotel was epic. A Grand Hotel by every meaning of the word. Majestic views, unique room (yes unique because it didn’t have your run of the mill amenities) and we felt we were transported to not too distant past.
Cons (-) Nothing to mention really. We were expecting the best. I would have mentioned the old style and smelly cabinet but it actually felt authentic.

Cons (-) Special location, the view is very beautiful in fall season. And I like the hotel building with history. The mini bar is excellent.
