Staff was very friendly, modern and clean rooms.
Many rooms are unfortunately on "smoking floors", the smell was really uncomfortable. I think this should be indicated better. The choice of a non-smoking room before booking would have helped a lot.
The location, 10 minutes walk to the station. The room was comfortable, and modern.
The fridge wasn't working.
I had a really pleasant stay at Grande Arte Hotel in Eskişehir. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated — exactly what I was hoping for. The staff was great and friendly. Breakfast was good. Parking in the public garage in front of the hotel was convenient and quite cheap.
Improvement points were a pretty heavy smoke smell in the room, the provided toiletries, and the guest wifi didn't work (but staff provided an alternative after inquiring).
Friendly and supportive staff, great location, clean rooms. It was exceeding our expectations. Parking was at a charge of 200 TL per day (discounted with a voucher from the hotel) in a public parking behind the hotel. The pool was at a high charge actually (600 TL per person per hour) which is quite high to what they are offering and the pool water was so cold.
I had the worst experience staying in this hotel. There were no bellhop. Secondly a false fire alarm at 6am which were already tired. There was no soup in the bathroom. The kettle wasn’t even clean. No parking available. The only that was good is Breakfast
Just a heads up, there’s no private parking, there’s a car park opposite but you can get a discount if you stay at the hotel. Rooms were very spacious. They also don’t accept any kind of cash except for TL so come prepared. Staff were friendly
Bin was full when we arrived, no shampoo offered. Free coffee sachet & kettle available. No mini bar as advertised
The cafetaria under the hotel was nice in the "La durée style" The staff was friendly.
My brother went to the spa and fitness, it was like a joke...very very bad! He told us he had to pay the entry to the spa but even if it was free he would'nt go back! Our bathroom has an horrible smell og clogged pipeline, toilet. The matrass were smelting the very old stuff. The breakfast area was very old (furniture,...) and the breakfast was basic.
The hotel is wonderful, very well positioned, we reached the river (from where you can get on the gondola for a ride) in about 10 minutes on foot. Around the hotel there are pubs, places with cheap and good food, and a Mall where you can shop. Eskisehir is a very beautiful city. I really wanted to use the pool, so I paid for 1 hour of spa and pool, for 2 people 1000tl. I found that the water in the pool was cold enough that I didn't want to swim anymore.
