Pros (+) Resort was beautiful, staff was very helpful and friendly, dinner restaurants were exceptional and we loved the breakfast as well, so many kid-friendly activities/amenities, bed was comfortable and loved the blackout curtains, beautiful views. The resort felt very safe and the service was unmatched!
Cons (-) Lunch restaurant timing was not ideal for us with a toddler - it didn't open until noon and that's when she had to take a nap, so the first day she didn't get lunch in time for her nap. The following day we ordered kids breakfast room service ahead of time to be delivered at 11:30 so she could eat first. Alcoholic drinks weren't poured very strong - had to ask for extra which is fine.

Amazing time! The teen club is so exceptional that our 13 year old daughter begged to go every night, which never happens. The staff is unbelievable. Our butler, Laura made our trip so much fun! I strongly recommend Grand Velas!

Cons (-) Exception experience overall. There was not one thing that did not exceed my expectations. Food was delicious. Room service was excellent. Property was amazing. Every staff member at the Property delivered exceptional customer service. Money well spent. Will definitely book again.

Pros (+) This is the best hotel we've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and have every amenity you could want (there was a hot tub and plunge pool in ours). The swimming pools are unreal and the quality of the food and drinks second to none (there wasn't a meal we had that I wouldn't have paid for in a restaurant). Cons (-) Taxis are pricey from the hotel so Uber is a great resource (it's much cheaper). The beach isn't swimmable at the hotel and you can't walk to the nearest one. Having said that the pools at the hotel are so good that you won't really want to leave.
