Pros (+) It’s in close proximity to the station. The old and new have been combined beautifully in this hotel. The rooms are spacious and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They made special arrangements for us leaving early before breakfast started to get a food hamper, despite the renovations in the kitchen. The WiFi is fast and available everywhere in the hotel. Pros (+) This hotel is a stunning beauty. It is old-school luxury and class. Probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in so far. Highly recommended.

Pros (+) The hotel is very centrally located and the walk to the center of town is a minute or two. It is the reason to book at the hotel. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are comfortable as well.
Cons (-) The rooms are a bit dark and lack warmth / decorative elements - some flowers or decorative paintings/photos would make the rooms cheerful (I understand the goal is to pursue the original art deco design but a bit of color/decor would not hurt).

Cons (-) Upon checkin, if the staff had told us that they were in the process of switching from heat to AC, we would not have had to call in the middle of the night and be told to open a window. The staff was very gracious the next morning, and gave us a nice bottle of wine
