Spectacular views over the Bay of Naples from the lovely room balcony. The staff were very welcoming, they were very accommodating with our 9 year child, they made him a off the menu pizza for his evening meal. We did not spend long enough in Sorrento and should we return I would definitely be booking at the Grand Hotel President.
Great location for visiting the centre of Sorrento. Free shuttle bus taking you down into the centre of town or a 20 minute walk. Great views. Ideal hotel for going off visiting local attractions
Pool and gym didn't open until 9am to late for the early risers Could have had more fresh fruit options at breakfast
What a fantastic hotel, the staff were brilliant & nothing was too much trouble. What fantastic views of Sorrento Just great It's a bit of a walk into Sorrento, about 35 minutes, but the hotel has a shuttle bus
Stunning views from the hotel. Overall the stay was fine.
The first day we got the rooms they were not cleaned. Even in the restaurant for breakfast the cutlery and plates/bowls were not cleaned. The shuttle bus was not big enough. If too full you had to wait an hour for the next one. On one occasion the bus left 5 minutes ahead of schedule.
Food was great. The views were to die for. Quirky colour scheme loved the size of the rooms, service was spot on.
eVERYTHING WAS GREAT
Nice bright room, nice big deck, nice blackout shutters, friendly front desk, nice green space with seating area with views. Lots of loungers and umbrellas too. Convenient shuttle that runs often and isn’t full. Omelette station.
Unheated kiddie pool. Likely not an issue in June to Aug but frigid in May. No food on pool deck, bad lunch restaurant food, weak/poor value cocktails from pool. Despite having a stroller, shuttle driver didn’t offer to let us put it in the back of the van, rather than having to maneuver it into a seat on board.
