We did not like at all the bathtab, it is very high and wide very dificult to get in and out. It is not for old people.

Unfriendly staff in restaurant, poor breakfast, overused beds - uncomfortable sleep causing backache!
We were upgraded to a luxury room that was large and very comfortable. Location and free car parking were excellent. Staff were courteous and we loved our stay at the hotel. Breakfast was very good indeed.
The only thing we didn’t like was the shower as we both struggled to step into the bathtub which has a very high bath side. I accept this is an age thing for us but a walk in shower is more user friendly.
Very smart room. Not too expensive. About 15 minutes walk over the footbridge into central town. Swimming pool. Very big modern hotel.

There aren’t any slipper in the room
The music is terrible—too loud and omnipresent. For example, if you sit on the terrace at Café VIENNA, there’s music playing even outside! It’s very loud and of poor quality. Please understand that in a four‑star hotel, guests—especially foreigners like us—expect silence. Staff are concerned and helpful.
Grand Hotel Plovdiv is now my hotel of choice for my stays in the city centre. Its location is wonderful. A 10-15 minute stroll through the city centre into the heart of the action. The renovated rooms are incredible. Spacious and modern.
I really don't like the extra charge for the pool. Also they make you wear a swimming hat.
My heart stayed in this place. The hotel is luxurious, clean and extremely modern decorated. Thank you for our upgraded room as well as free access at Spa center of the hotel. We really loved the breakfast served with quality and delicious products. Very nice and helpful personnel. Thank you for the pleasant stay and we definitely come back again in Grand Hotel Plovdiv.
