Pros (+) Staff super helpful and friendly. Room lovely with fridge. Breakfast was awesome. Swimming pool perfect. Location - easy walk to old town and boat trips etc. loved it. Recommend 100%. We booked the hotel because friends of ours had said how wonderful it was. You can just park your car in their car park and walk everywhere.

Cons (-) Some confusion with our stay as we later on added an extra night to our booking that was somehow “dropped” from our reservation so we had to actually move down the street at the last minute for our last night! The hotel arranged this for us but we had no idea what happened as we had confirmed the extra night prior to our arrival. They told us it was dropped by the “system”???

Pros (+) From the moment we arrived the staff at the front desk was great. Very helpful and they explained to us how to get around the city and recommendations on where to eat and what to see. We had a wonderful experience, the hotel is lovely, staff very professional and helpful, we were very happy staying at the Normandy Hotel!

Pros (+) Warm and informative welcome at check in plus provided additional information such as places to dine and places to visit. The rooms felt homely and quiet with a great size bath tub. Location was central to the train station and centre of Burge shopping, attractions and food places. Breakfast was yummy with a great selection. The surprise was receiving a gift at check out.
