The service in this hotel is impressive- from the way you are treated at check in, stay and departure. Top notch, haven’t experienced it better anywhere else. The assistant manager Thomas - knew our names on arrival and addressed us without hesitation with our correct name throughout the stay. This hotel is a real gem, modern with a classic colonial style, very well located in the heart of the old quarter. The room was cosy, bed super comfy, the breakfast was outstanding with a mix of western and Vietnamese food items, the roof top was great offering an amazing view of the old quarter. Excellent location, steps away from St. Joseph’s cathedral. The hotel restaurant offers amazing food, and the staff is very polite and welcoming.
The bed sheets were dirty upon my arrival, and weren’t changed after the first night.
The location is great : the hotel and the rooms are very quiet despite being in the middle of one of the most busiest areas of the old quarter .The staff is very nice and helpful . Breakfast is awesome

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful - hotel staff was super helpful and always ready to help with all kinds of requests (i.e., calling us a taxi when we couldn't get one, booking a reservation at a popular restaurant, etc.). The location is very central and main sites are an easy walk to from the hotel. I would highly recommend staying here.
The staff really made our stay at the Grand Hotel du lac. Jeremy who checked us in was very helpful and informative. He really made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond. Mr Jack couldn't have done more to help and was very warm and friendly. He knew how late our departing flight was and offered us to treat the hotel like home.
