Prime location on the Zócolo and excellent, attentive service. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The rooftop terrace is amazing -- it is worth coming in day time and night time for wonderful city views. They even have a specific photo location on the terrace since the view is so nice.
Nothing negative.
Nothing :( ( accept old historical building and beautiful architecture work
Location is very central, but hotel should let the guest know about the protest and block street. we have to walk 4 blocks with our luggage; hotel should provide help. air-condition is not cool enough and stay 72 F Degrees .
Loved everything about it. Top notch service, wonderful facility. Super comfortable room. Would definitely stay again! Room with a view to Zocalo is definitely worth it!
All was good!
We stayed 6 nights at Gran Hotel Ciudad de México with our daughter and absolutely loved everything. Our room overlooking the Zócalo was stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide and tasty selection. The hotel restaurant was also great, offering delicious food and a breathtaking view of the square. It’s also a lovely spot to enjoy a drink,...Read more
Location - close to historical centre and main city plaza. Lovely building and a free lounge with cookies, candies and water.
The staff were unorganized but did manage to get our requests figured out - it just took some time. No towels in the room, perhaps it was laundry day as when they did arrive, they were bath mats, not bath towels.
Hotel is located right on the Zocalo - great location to explore parts of the city - lots of shopping around. Our room had a view of the square however due to an event happening there our view was obstructed which was unfortunate but still could see a bit of what was going on.
obstructed view of the square
The ceiling is stunning, the pla is very nice
It’s not easy to get to by Uber or taxi, they drop you off on the street and you need to drag your suitcase for 1/2 a block
Great location. However, as we stayed over the 1May weekend, with concerts and other festivities, the roads accessing to hotel was blocked and there was noise from concerts and sound testing at night. Minor inconveniences. Access to the executive lounge is a bonus. Rooftop restaurant offered excellent view of Zocalo
Toiletries not up to expectations.
Everything (room, restaurant, services) is wonderful, The hotel staff were helpful and courtesious, also exceeded my expectations
Most beautiful building- staff were very helpful. The location in the centre of the city very convenient to many historical sites
Had a room close to the square where festivities were occurring so quite noisy. Friends had a room at the back and it was much quieter
