Shona is very friendly and accommodating for her guests. We felt very at home and comfortable. Thanks for the breakfast each morning it was much appreciated.
Nice spacious accommodation
Room wasn’t ready when we arrived despite turning up 1h 15min after check in time. We had to wait a further 30 min for the room to be ready. This was really frustrating after a long day of travelling.

A very spacious, modern, well appointed chalet in a beautiful, picturesque setting.
The accommodation was quite dusty in places and the upstairs blinds were very dirty. Also, the landing halfway up the stairs to the bedroom is quite dangerous at night because of the configuration of the stair. I missed my footing and slipped. Luckily, I was holding the handrail tightly and was able to catch myself but I did bruise my foot.
The location is super peaceful, with gorgeous views of the mountains. It’s close enough to Wanaka town but still feels like a retreat. The chalets are spacious, clean, and really well-equipped—things like full kitchens, big bathrooms. Comfortable beds and thoughtful touches like outdoor seating areas and good heating — makes it feel really cozy.
Lack of space in the bathroom for personal items, We would suggest the addition of shelves and hangers. Towels are too rough, need to use softener when washing.
Their bed was horrible, creaking with any movement. The cheap spring mattress is uncomfortable to sleep on. Ruined my night
Quiet, well equipped chalet with comfortable bed. Nice views over the gardens to the hills.
The hostess and staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and quiet even with a crying baby Nextdoor. Pleasant view. Nice to have a patio area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine,
The facility couldn’t do anything about this…but for other travelers be nice! The host allowed those of us in the main building to put our foodstuffs in the refrigerator. That we thought was so generous. However, another guest moved our ice packs out of the freezer as he stuffed the ENTIRE feeezer with his fish and whatever else he had.
