Staff helpful and nice food in the restaurant
A lot of stairs
The location was convenient for walking to the centre of old Istanbul. Breakfast is generous with many options for guests’ preferences. We enjoyed two excellent meals in the restaurant. Staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. All our requests and needs were promptly met and we would be happy to recommend Garden House hotel to others.
Can’t think of anything except that slight adjustment to shower plumbing needed in our room.

Better choice with in-room tea and coffee
First, it’s the super helpful front desk and porters. Elvin at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. I forgot to schedule a taxi to pick us up and he organized a taxi for us within 15 minutes with very detailed instructions on where to go and etc. He answered my email, texts, and phone calls immediately; then he gave directions and recommendations on the local places to go. Location is close to all the main touristic attractions. Staff was really helpful and nice. They probably gave us the room with the best view as we asked (we had room with balcony to the inner yard which is garden restaurant). Room interior was really authentic. Everything worked well. Very hospitable and friendly attitude, the room looks authentic, the bed was nice and the restaraunt was great as well. The hotel is located in the Old city, so getting to the local sights is only a short walk. Nearby streets are small and not so busy, and the hotel is in a garden, so it's quiet.
The room might need some repairs here and there. The door is not isolating the sound from the small internal yard, so if someone is talking there, you will hear it, loud and clear.
Efficient, warm friendly welcome. Clean room, very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Fridge and water provided. Coffee and fruit in reception area.
