Pros (+) Comfortable well maintained traditional ‘English’ style hotel with a tranquil atmosphere. Reasonable sized bar area with live music and good cocktails. Friendly and attentive staff. Good value for money.
Cons (-) Nothing of note - although a short drive from town centre.

Pros (+) Location ouside town. You need a car, there is nothing nearby. Staff was very friendly and akways helpful. Nice bar. Breakfast and dinner were very good.
Cons (-) There is no shelf or anything in the bathroom. Very noisy in the early mornings (from the hotel itself not the guests).

The hotel comes at a premium compared to some of the other properties in Nuwara Eliya compared to the facilities they offer. The wi fi is pretty slow, there are no elevators, the gym is pretty basis (no treadmill), TVs are not functioning properly, food service is slow and variety in the buffet was limited.
