Great views from the mountain/forest to the sea. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Surrounded by so much nature and woke up to a different type of bird or animal right outside our room each day. It was truly magical!

The breakfast and sushi was great The staff are attentive Beautiful grounds and the free macaw hike was a bonus
Whilst there was a shuttle until 4 pm it would have been good to have act so could explore more food options . Whilst the other restaurants are not far away there are no paths so cannot walk safely at night

Pool needs a tidy up and gym is a long way from the hotel.
Room was very spacious and well maintained. The most important: people working there were very friendly! And they will help you to spot slots and macaws
The hotel and staff were magnificent. We had made a mistake withour booking and the administrator/manager rectified it with no cost to us. Our Concierge, Jose Gamboa, was astoundingly responsive and helpful. We had a tour with Clarence who was the friendliest and most informative tour guide we've ever had. I honestly cannot think of anything to make it better. Maybe stairs along the driveway leading down to the parking lot but that is more of a "would be nice" item than something that is needed. The golf carts and staffs were always available to meet our needs going in and out.Read more
This was the 5th hotel that we’d stayed in on our honeymoon Costa Rica travels. I can honestly say the stay from start to finish was the best I’d ever experienced. Location, literally a 5 star service offered from the staff, private concierge, ready to help for any issue or request. Food is good, service in the restaurant is great. The view is nice.
The fact that the hotel is VERY outdated and in the pictures looks like “ the ultimate luxury destination” which unfortunately it is not, because despite the service is 5 star, the hotel facilities are very outdated and need renovation.
