Very nice hotel, in the centre of the town. Incorporating an impressive church and nunary inside some very nice fort walls. Room was excellent, staff speaking several languages incl. English. Free secure parking for the motorbikes

Fantastic hotel in a historical building. Spacious rooms, beautiful swimming pool and great staff. Late check out so we could enjoy the facilities to the fullest. Great selection for breakfast.

The hotel is located in an old fort and near to the center of the city. It is easy to park and the view from the rooms is quite nice. The room and bathroom is spacious. Breakfast was very good. the swimming pool is beautiful. High value for money.
The hotel is quite old and the furniture in the room old-fashioned. The service at the restaurant was appalling: we had to reserve a table and we did, but the information from reception did nota arrive at the restaurant, the waitress was not ready to move our cutlery outside (it was hot), so we did ourselves. Location is great. Food in restaurant is super. And breakfast was as good as it gets in Spain. Pool and surroundings are top notch. Big clean pool, lots of sunbeds and chairs with a bar.
Put us in a room that wasn't what we'd booked. But after some 'discussion' they gave us the right one. Basically, they misrepresent their attic rooms via photos on this site. They have a gym, but 7 out of 8 of the machines didn't work. There is no air con and it's all in a room previously used as a dining room or kitchen. One set of dumbbells. A fantastic conversion of an historic building with excellent facilities. The location was perfect. Breakfast was also very good. Very good value.
The bar area could have been a little more inviting. The range of food available in the bar was also limited.
It’s a treat to stay in a parador, and this one in particular. There are so many nooks to explore, including an old chapel right near the room. The breakfast space and buffet may be the best I’ve ever had.
The top floor has a gabled roof, so tall folks have to be aware not to bang their heads on the ceiling.
