The staff were very attentive and the quality of the food was superb. The grounds were very well kept and the location was quiet. Baslow is an excellent location for touring the area.
The range of courses for dinner wws very limited. The breakfast lacked the opportunity to order fruit and if a continental or light breakfast was required, this was not available.
Breakfast was good, the house was superb and the location was really quiet. With only a few rooms it feels extremely homely though very professional.
Did have an issue with the curtain but didn’t detract from our enjoyment.
It was beautiful. Everything was exceptional and I cannot fault their attention to detail. We only had breakfast there but the choice was excellent and it was prepared beautifully.

The first & second day were cold. I don’t think there was any heating on as it was warmer on last day & I noticed the radiators were warm

I dont think fine dining is for us. Would prefer country hotel food which would likely be a lot cheaper

Beautiful hotel in a superb location. Staff were delightful. The food in the restaurant was top rate. Our room, Vernon, looked out onto the magnificent garden.
