Pros (+) This hotel exceeded our expectations. From the room, facilities and the beautiful surrounding area - provides excellent value for money for a 5 star hotel. The service was exceptional and friendly - even if there is a language barrier, the staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Also the best buffet breakfast I've ever experienced!

Pros (+) I stayed during my birthday weekend and on the morning of my birthday, the staff brought me a very beautiful cake with candles and spoons and plates. It was a beautiful gesture and great way to start my birthday. They also spoke English which was a pleasant surprise.
Cons (-) The hotel is rather far from downtown so travelling to get anywhere be it by car or metro, you have to travel for at least an hour. It is a bit inconvenient.

I would recommend this place as their service staff were warm and welcoming. I arrived past midnight and the check in was ready, which is superb. Breakfast wise good variety and delicious as well. Overall, my stay was a fantastic one!

Have travelled to China a few times but Felton Grand Hotel exceeded my expectation, the staff are warm and friendly, facilities are clean. Rooms are comfortable with plenty of tv channels. The only 2 things that they can improve on 1) provide a bigger pillow and 2) more variety of food choice for breakfast buffet.

I didn't expect much, because I chose a hotel with the affordable price that looked nice on pictures. However, I was treated like a queen. I am amazed by their service level!
