The gold experience lounge and staff - and the junior suite were absolutely fantastic. The only issue was using the gym as it was in the rest of the hotel which is not to the same standard.
The main hotel looked a bit tired and very dark. The gym was old fashioned.
The hotel is right across the street from Union Station, and a short subway ride from Pearson Airport. Nearby venues such as Scotiabank Arena St. Lawrence Market, & the CN Tower are within walking distance. Gold Experience breakfast was wonderful. Scrambled eggs that weren't overcooked. The only DISadvantage is the road construction on Gardiner Expressway - the main road from the airport to the hotel.Read more
An elegant notable well established Hotel with a past reputation for excellent service
Coming in at 11 pm, there were no porters to assist with lugging suitcases through revolving doors and up 13 steps. As a 60+ year old woman, this was tough Compounding this - there were 2 receptionists on duty and a long line of guests wanting to check in. Amazing hosting and nice experience
Breakfast - scrambled egg was bland and toast not hot.

the staff were amazing!
the room key on the elevator was a problem. one night i had to go up and down the elevator to my room four times before we were able to get room key to work.
