Cons (-) 5th floor, very noisy. Uncomfortable bed. Heating did not work. Rooms are old, so is the bathroom . Not 5 star at all

Perfect hotel for Christmas holiday! The decoration was top notch. The Christmas tree was so beautiful. Hence, it's getting very crowded (and noisy) in the evening for people coming over for drinks/dinner in the small lobby. Location wise was okay, 10 mins walk from Pike Place market. Room and facilities were amazing (Fairmont standard).

Pros (+) Beautiful lobby, restaurant, and bar! The staff were exceptionally friendly. We loved having dinner and drinks and relaxing on the couches in the bar area. They were close enough to be part of the classic atmosphere but were private enough for conversation. Rooms were wonderful, I appreciate that the hotel has kept many of the (well-maintained) vintage elements of the bathroom instead of giving in...
Cons (-) We were a little disappointed with the pool and hot tub area, it was a bit dirty and looked like it had not been deep cleaned in a long time.
