Excellent hotel in a good location up the hill from the main town. They collect you from and drop you back to the ferry as part of the service. Hotel is of its style but very comfortable both in the room, which was an excellent size, as was our bathroom, and in other communal areas. Amazing welcome at the hotel and shown around the various areas and to our room. I never had this kind of service when arriving at a hotel and I have travelled a lot. Great location and good facilities. Easy to walk to the shops, village and restaurants.
There were 6 of us staying and the food orders for breakfast were often incorrect or forgotten. This seemed a little odd give how good everything else was.
Excellent and plenty of choices and great views from the terrace.
Thermal springs could have been warmer but that is what mother nature provided
This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was beyond attentive and so helpful in making sure we had anything we needed. The grounds are beautiful, the spa gorgeous, clean and rejuvenating. Breakfast was superb as was dinner. The Excelsior checked all the boxes: location, walking distance to castle, shopping, beach, bistros. Hospitality/ Service was an A+.
I loved every part of this hotel! There is nothing I didn't like.
The location and beach access! The staff is exceptional!! The rooms are very spacious and well organized! I loved the sauna, treadmill, and multiple outside areas for relaxing!
Although the hotel can’t control it there were a bunch of mosquitos and flies from post rain humidity so just maybe come prepared with bug spray!
Very attentive and kind service!!!
