Cons (-) Breakfast awful, espresso coffee really undrinkable especially for an Italian hotel. Only one socket in the whole room! Very noisy and small rooms. Old furniture and building.

Pros (+) The staff were friendly and very helpful. The fitness centre was fine but partially closed due to renovation. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, and the staff so very capable. Domestic staff kept my room clean and couldn't be more helpful.
Cons (-) Very little space, apart from the rooms, to sit when the rain poured and it was unwise to step out on the city. Restaurants were too far away. For someone without a car for a week the bus service was very poor.
