It was a great location, and the staff was wonderful and very accomadating to all our needs.
It had no windows to the outside. We need more fresh air.
This is my second stay here, staying twice in the same hotel 12 years apart, and experience the same level of quality and service is outstanding; highly recommended, the hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are super comfortable.
Comfortable beds, well furnished apartment with history and mystery! The breakfast restaurant was excellent. The location, on Las Positas, is the best, near wonderful gallerias, many excellent restaurants, the university, and the center of Guanajuato.
It was a bit dark, as the old historic property is embedded in the mountain! There was very little natural light. But the lighting provided was good.
Lots of charm, quirky spaces, courtyards, terraces. We were stuck inside a lot due to rain and a toddler and found it a pleasant place to spend time.
Although technically wheelchair accessible, it would be a real hassle to come in and out in a wheelchair. Given the large size of the hotel, they could easily add a small gym in place of 1-2 guest rooms (or another amenity: game room, bar, etc.)

I only wish there was A/C in the room, even the wall mounted ones would be nice. They do have fans in the room which is nice.
The staff were very friendly! Room was spotless and roomy. The location was perfect. Very close to all of the action but the noise level was fine for such a festive city. Communal spaces were beautiful. Loved the early mornings on the rooftop patio. I also liked that they asked guests to conserve water. I'm a coffee drinker! Cafes didn't open until 9. I would have loved to have had access to coffee early. There's a coffee maker in the room but no sugar, etc. I was able to buy a cup downstairs where they serve breakfast two times, which was nice. I think breakfast started at 9:00. Later I found out a nearby OXXO has coffee @ 7:30.Read more
Great location, within walking distance to the central area, restaurants, sights, bars and shopping. Our room was comfortable and clean; fresh towels and bottled water was provided daily. The breakfast was fabulous! A wide variety of menu items and a buffet on the weekend. The staff was exceptional, especially the 2 gentlemen that run breakfast. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
The room didn't have a refrigerator.
Beautiful facilities in great location, convenient for walking around downtown and a short uber ride to anywhere in town. Convenient to many restaurants including one in the hotel. Rooftop area also provides views of the city and a nice place unwind in the evening.
