Pros (+) Loved that it was a smaller hotel, more personal and homely. Well situated for all the attractions in the centre of Stellenbosch. We were also bowled over by the complementary upgrade.

Pros (+) The freshly cooked breakfast (the smell in my room wakes me up every morning!). The espresso. The friendly staff.

Cons (-) At night main door is locked a bit too early and have to go and open door at the back with a key so felt a bit unsafe as no guard around.

Pros (+) Fast and friendly check-in. The room was good. Stayed in an add-on room with a bunk bed. As a solo traveller, I didn't need more than that coming out of the mountains after camping. Breakfast was excellent! Staff is very friendly. Would stay there again.

Pros (+) The breakfast was one of the best that we had in South Africa with such helpful and polite staff. We forgot to bring the correct adaptor for our mobiles in South Africa and the hotel kindly lent us one until we had a chance to buy one. The hotel coordinated our taxi there and away to Cape Town thereafter. Overall the hotel was brilliant and we would certainly stay there again if in Stellenbosch.
