Amazing, helpful and friendly staff. The most incredible location, and plenty to see and do. We loved our day canoeing on the river provided by the hotel.
No restaurant for dinner on site, but staff provided a list of recommendations which were all fantastic.
Amazing waterfront property. Spectacular garden with many beautiful spots to sit , lay and relax.. Breakfast was great and beautifully served . Nice room with porch above the river.

First things first, I’ll be back! This was the perfect escape that is tranquil and quiet allowing me to fully switch off. The surrounding mountains, the river and birds singing was magical. The facilities are also great. I wish we didn’t have to leave.
Beautiful setting that is very peaceful. Great place to just relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the Douro. Would definitely go out of our way to visit here again.
The only negative is finding reception but that's not a major issue there are a number of staff around for assistance.

The place was very beautiful and clean with a stunning view!! The staff were very kind and helpful.
The only thing was that there were no restaurants near by.. but 20 minutes away by car.
Amazing views, very romantic. The crew helped with everything we asked, including providing all the tools we needed to cook.
The location is far from main Douro vally attractions like boat ride and winery tour. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel and not as many restaurants near by.
