Cons (-) booking as higher floor, they only give us 12th floor, which building more that 25th floor, 12th floor not consider high floor, but we been charge for high floor payment

Always a pleasure to stay at Doubletree by Hilton JB! Staff are always very friendly, courteous and helpful. The Ramadhan Iftar spread is also great!

Pros (+) Suite was nice, really spacious. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Lounge access great value.

Hotel room was big with 2 super single beds. Parking was free. Toiletries were provided unlike many hotels these days. Bed was comfortable and pillows were just right. Booked without breakfast so not sure how breakfast was. City square and Komtar shopping centres were within walking distance.

We drove and the hotel wasn't hard to locate. There was a huge selection at the breakfast buffet and the food is great!

Pros (+) The service was good. The suite we stayed in was excellent. The straits view from room 2405 was nice. The pool facilities was normal but well maintained.
Cons (-) The RTS construction around the hotel meant that we had to make several long detours getting in and out of the hotel. Walking to City Square was longer than usual and not recommended with kids on pram due to uneven pavement.

Aircon was really hot. Found it hard to sleep. They definitely need to fix that. Service was fine and amenities were ok but if you would like to sleep in a sauna, this is the best place to be. We turned the aircon to 16° and it was on full blast but the room never turn cold, all in the spirit of saving the environment. Won’t book this again
