Pros (+) The hotel is in a fabulous location close to the tube and nice cafes and shops in Marylebone. It’s safe and convenient. The decor is beautiful - each room really stunning and the fixtures and fittings high quality and very clean. The staff are really professional and helpful. We asked for tea and coffee and they brought us a kettle and tray of nice china and tea and coffee and almond milk.
Cons (-) The room was small - too small for 2 people to move around comfortably, nowhere to store suitcases, and the bathroom nowhere to put your toilet bag so you have to put in on the floor. It would be fine for 1 person but definitely is not the size I would expect for a “superior” room for 2 people. It was literally a bed and a small desk / dressing table. Pros (+) We stayed in several Firmdale Hotels and this is the original one. It is a small but excellent hotel with very attentive staff with a personal touch. You feel at home and the location is great. It is only one stop with the Jubilee line from Baker Street to Bond street. Breakfast was excellent. Overal an exceptional good hotel as can be expected from a Firmdale hotel.
