Best bed, great breakfast. Many food options close by.
Great location. An Uber to Old Town was quick and not too expensive, and we were able to walk to many other neighborhoods. It felt more ‘real’ than some of the more touristy neighborhoods. We felt completely safe walking around after dark. There was a decent sized market within a block or so, so we were able to pick up some extra yogurts to have on hand in the room. Would have liked a plain yogurt option. (They only had the kind with fruit and added sugar.) Also, it would have been nice to have espresso-based coffee at breakfast. Pods were available in the rooms, but the coffee with breakfast was not as strong as I like. I found the bed too soft, but my husband liked it, so that’s a personal judgment.Read more
Great location with nice restaurants and a grocery store within a minute walk or less as well as Byrd electric scooters to rent along the sidewalks. Really friendly staff. Rooms are nice and the rooftop pool area is nice too. They also have a cool lounge on the second floor to relax, read a book, and have a drink. Also about a 10 minute uber to the airport.
Beer was a bit expensive so i only had one. If it were even just a couple dollars cheaper, i'd probably hang out more in the hotel in the evenings. Bathroom needs a shelf for personal items.
Nicely renovated older building convenient to the Pan American cruise port and walking distance to several restaurants.
Located on a busy street so there's some traffic noise at night, but not too bad especially if you're used to a busy urban environment. Otherwise bring ear plugs for sleeping.
We chose it prior to a cruise..wish we had stayed longer prior …we love boutique hotels and this was lovely and electic, staff amazing. Recommend but be prepared for older area….

The Don Rafa is a beautiful hotel, very well appointed throughout, absolutely stunning decor. We booked the Miramar Jr Suite, and plenty of room with living area with refrigerator and great large tv and couch, and bed comfy. Aircon good and not noisy at all. Decent continental breakfast in lobby, and gorgeous rooftop pool and cabana area we wish we had made more use out of. Very good restaurant on...
Very small bathroom with nowhere to really put anything, would benefit from shelving unit or something similar. The internet was also very slow, and kept disconnecting periodically.Read more

No food, everything was closed
The staff was wonderful and the public spaces were lovely and comfortable.
The satellite TV kept going out so we couldn’t watch anything and the bathroom was so tiny we could barely function in it.
Location is great and the hotel decorations and the structure.
I know is historic building and bathroom is small and no microwave other that that all is great. I expected to see better breakfast included.
