Pros (+) The building is steeped in history, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The rooms are beautifully presented and everything was pristine. Dinner in the restaurant was fabulous, the attention to detail evident. Food was well presented, cooked to perfection and the tables set beautifully. Service from the staff was impeccable.
Cons (-) As was explained this was a home prior to being turned into a hotel so there are many levels accessible by stairs only (not a problem for me) however someone not as mobile may find this challenging. Let me be clear, this is not to be considered a detracting feature.

Pros (+) From welcome to departure, the staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was perfect. The concierge was very helpful and knowledgeable. Fiona at reception was both friendly and professional and a real ambassador for the hotel. My room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons (-) No adverse comments really other than the fact that I wished I had more time to enjoy my stay. My work made me late at arriving and early at departing. I will be back for a non business experience.
