Pros (+) Staff were very friendly. Spacious room with all necessary amenities. Comfortable fireplace room in the common areas with view over Portree for relaxing or for a drink. The restaurant where the breakfast was also served had amazing views.

Pros (+) An elegant hotel overlooking the colourful houses of Portree with a lovely onsite restaurant. We loved the cosy library with a roaring fire to relax in after dinner. We treated ourselves to a night here after a week of camping in the Scottish Highlands.
Cons (-) Restaurant was a little expensive - the place is definitely aimed at tourists but still very nice.

Pros (+) Excellent property and room. Views from the front of the hotel were exemplary and had a calming/soothing effect. Great staff. Will visit again for sure.
Cons (-) The non-vegetarian menu could have been better with a chicken or lamb dish for dinner. Otherwise facilities and food was great.

Cons (-) The bathroom to our room is in need of an upgrade - I didn’t expect to have a shower curtain clinging to me at this price point. The tiled floor was very slippery.
