Cons (-) The pillows didn’t seem like they were washed had a smell like somebody else had been sleeping on them and hasn’t been changed. No express checkout box like most IHG hotels.

Pros (+) location. ground floor staff - very pleasant, friendly and helpful
Cons (-) lighting - could hardly see room numbers, touch lighting pads instead of switches, hard to argue about getting a receipt issued, cost for breakfast was $40 - ridiculous - bought some yogart at Woolies for $6.90 - did 2 breakfasts, available TV channels limited,, lifts very slow and often had a mind of their own as to where it would go despite where one selected to go

Pros (+) Central location, easy to explore the CBD. Rooms are fresh and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Buffet breakfast was delicious and a vibrant spread.
Cons (-) These are not deal breakers and more due to the physical location of the hotel: Noisy at night due to the street noises from Hobart's night life - not much they can do about this unfortunately! No free parking - you have to pay daily for valet parking, which you must wait 10 - 20mins turnaround for, as they don't have any parking on location.

Pros (+) Breakfast was a little disappointing - many of the options had run out and they either didnt add something extra or nothing was available, had to ask for juice to be topped up after a number of employees just walked past looked and moved on - egg option was really good happy with chef to cook egg selection and come out in good time.
Cons (-) Happy hour selection was very ordinary - ordered a beer and spirit and told afterwards not included in happy hour - disagree with advertising HH with only a few selections - its an hour come on put all tap beer on basic spirits and wine or add some cocktail options.

The hotel decor was extremely modern and it made the hotel feel fresh and comfortable. The hotel was very convenient for shopping and the airport transit bus.
