The soaking tub and mineral bath was fantastic!
Missing the amazing pillow spray and soaking salts
Love the vibe of the renovated shoe factory, beautiful rooms and centrally located to enjoy the town. We’ve stayed here once before and appreciate being able to bring our dog
we were located in the adjacent building directly over the patio area. It would be helpful to have some black out curtains as the shades don’t block out the lights which are plentiful in the front area of the hotel/restaurant. Also a Young Life group was meeting on that patio creating a tremendous amount of noise, it wasn’t the end of the world as they were out by 9:30 but the whole Jesus vibe was...Read more
The uniqueness of the hotel was charming. Penny Loafer was not on duty while we were there but love the idea of her as a greeter. Love the architecture throughout, shoeshine box as a picnic basket for the continental breakfast, small detail of art work in form of postcard left on bed, high ceilings in rooms, very spacious rooms. Love this hotel… it is the most comfortable beds/pillows in the US- I travel often!
The screaming child above me- all night!

I was there for my best friend's wedding and didn't want this experience to ruin their day, so I didn't cause a scene at the hotel and bit my tongue. This next part is relevant, as it was repeated to me MULTIPLE times. I'm perfectly fine with my a...Read more

Absolutely beautiful unique property.
Nothing.
Loved the history of the building and the little extras such as the different styles of shoes on the doors as well as the shoe box in the room.
Location and uniqueness of hotel. The continental breakfast from a “shoe box” was genius with the theme of the hotel.
Had to pay for parking. $12 per day
Spacious room and breakfast in a shoebox.
