Very friendly reception. Dinner at Helena’s restaurant was excellent as well the breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay in this gem in the heart of Stellenbosch.
There was no parking near the hotel on arrival. We had to drive a circular route several times and then ended up double parking to get to reception. Stellenbosch municipality could solve this problem by allocating one parking space in front of the hotel for them.
Restaurant was excellent & the valet service was a good benefit to have

It’s a very nice property in the centre of town. The staff were all so pleasant, helpful & professional.
Our room was compact but well appointed, our only complaint was the bed sheets…. It was like sleeping in a paper bag. The rustling every time you moved really spoilt our stay.

The invoice I requested has not been sent. After that I sent an email to inquire about it, but no any response yet. Many booking or evaluating emails were harassing.
I had a wonderful stay at Coopmanhuijs Boutique Hotel & Spa! The location made it incredibly convenient to experience central Stellenbosch. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well-appointed, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel oozes charm and character—highly recommended!
I have no criticisms.
The location is perfect, in central Stellenbosch within walking distance of everything! The staff are exceptionally helpful and the rooms are reasonable but with absolutely everything you need especially plugs etc. The breakfast was lovely too. The hotel is small and intimate. Being one of the oldest hotels in Stellenbosch and being in a good location, the grounds are small but good use of space.

Truly a five star experience. Old school charm and luxury at its best. Loved that the hotel is a 320 year old building located right on Church Street with the grand Moederkerk (Mother Church) in full view just a 100 or so metres away with many other historic buildings, art galleries, restaurants, cafes and shopping in the immediate vicinity. The Hotel is ideally located on the Main Street. We were allowed to check in early. The staff were very friendly.
