The convent is located in a quiet neighbourhood near the river. Our room was comfortable with a small terrace that we used a lot. The staff was helpful and kind, with good advice about nearby places to visit. Breakfast was very good.

I enjoyed a lovely stay at this converted convent. I chose it as a place to stop on my road trip down the historic N2 highway due to its pet-friendly status. I expected a small plain room, but instead was treated to a beautiful, well-appointed one. We would love to come back....what more can I say! The staff were so lovely, and the room was really comfortable. Sertã is a lovely town to stroll around, and a good base for hiking too!
Beautiful old building converted to modern standards. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms are large with plenty of light. On one side there is a lovely view of the river. Cold, cold, cold. The room was cold when we first arrived though we do appreciate that the heating is not turned on until the room is booked, and we do same day bookings. But even the public areas are cold. We stayed during winter, but do feel the overall comfort of temperatures should be addressed.Read more
