The pools are lovely, particularly the rooftop pool. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The hotel itself is a beautiful design and very tasteful. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The shower head tends to spray the water everywhere so the toilet etc gets wet. The water/or the cleaning materials (we couldn’t work it out) have a funny smell in the bathroom which is not particularly pleasant. We loved the location, the staff, the room, the food and overall ambiance of the hotel. The access via the funicular lift was novel and fun and the plethora of monkeys made for an extra entertaining stay 😍

The entire facility is beautiful and you can really feel the effort that has gone into building this hotel. Surrounded by lush forest, beautiful plants and chance to see wildlife nearby. We really appreciated the two different pool areas and spent most of our time in the “jungle pool” where we could get some well needed shade in the heat. Loved the monkeys, very quiet, tranquil and friendly staff. Close to the beach - about a 10 min walk.
Breakfast was quite basic, not much options for food. The cable car is very slow and has to be operated with a staff member and there is not always someone there so you can be waiting around a bit. The receptionist on duty couldn’t speak English so found it very hard to communicate with her.
Stunning location in the jungle with amazing views. It's easy to reach a comfortable beach just below, but the position allows you to get away from the noise and bustle of the main road hotels. The place is spotless, and even if it's in a green area, we had no mosquitoes in our room. Our family room layout was such that to exit/enter one bedroom you had to walk through the other one, and only one of the rooms has the window. The hotel uses disposable plastic shower gel/shampoo small bottles which is wasteful, I would hope they can soon switch to in-shower refillable dispensers. This is a 15 minute walk from the beach. It is up a massive hill so big it has a cable cart - useful except it is so so slow for a very small journey - takes an hour to drop something back from the room. This also closes at 10pm but there are stairs. The drains smelt in our room and you can’t leave anything on the balconies as the monkeys are really aggressive there. Wasn’t expecting this hotel to be as big and beautiful as it was! Our room was stunning - a reaaaally comfortable bed and we loved the wall art. Loved watching the monkeys playing outside the balcony and having multiple pool options for swimming. Staff were lovely.
Wonderful, beautiful boutique hotel! Very nice, relaxing atmosphere in all areas and territory! The hotel is located on the mountain, from where there is a stunning view! The rooms are large, with a nice design. Very comfortable bed with impeccable bed linen! The hotel has two swimming pools: one in the garden on the lower level, and the second one is on the roof - super! Very beautiful restaurant...
